BRODY LANGLOIS, PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Home: Welcome

About Me

I am a graduate of the Queen’s University Masters of Science in Physical Therapy
program. Before this, I completed a Bachelor of Science honors specialization in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario, where I graduated on the Dean’s honour list. I have a strong interest in sports therapy as well as everyday sprains and strains. My focus for physiotherapy is on using hands-on techniques, including soft tissue release and manual therapy, as well as therapeutic exercises, with the end goal of promoting normal function. I am a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, including the sports medicine, private practice and orthopaedic divisions.

I was born in Ottawa, but moved to the small town of Renfrew, in the Ottawa Valley, when I was 6 years old. I moved to the Durham region in 2015 after completing all my schooling to begin my work as a physiotherapist. I am an avid snowboarder and curler in the winter. I am a certified snowboarding instructor with the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors, and enjoy teaching friends and family in my spare time. During the summer, I enjoy spending time with family and friends at my family cottage. I am also a certified scuba diver, and have been on several Caribbean diving adventures including a dive with sharks in Bahamas.
